Copado Integration Introduction

This support article will guide you through setting up your Copado continuous integration and delivery pipeline.

In sum, the integration will include a callout to execute a Jenkins server job that runs a suite of Automation tests and writes the test results back to a custom object in Salesforce.

Prerequisites in Copado Integration

A valid Copado license.

  1. A Salesforce org with the Copado managed package installed. The user that initializes the integration with Copado must be added to the installed Copado package as a licensed user. (Copado Support can assist with this step). Note: The setup of Copado for your Salesforce org is beyond the scope of this guide.
  2. An Automation project with at least one test case.
  3. An (optional) version control system (VCS) is already set up. This is optional. However, we will integrate with a VCS in this guide.
