Copado integration introduction
This support article will guide you through the process of setting up your Copado continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline.
In sum, the integration will include a callout to execute a Jenkins server job that then executes a suite of Provar tests and writes the test results back to a custom object in Salesforce.
Prerequisites (a.k.a. Things You Need)
A valid Copado license.
- A Salesforce org with the Copado managed package installed. The user that initializes the integration with Copado will need to be added as a licensed user to the installed Copado package. (Copado Support can assist with this step). Note: The setup of Copado for your Salesforce org is beyond the scope of this guide.
- A Provar project with at least one test case.
- An (optional) version control system (VCS) that is already setup. This is optional, however, we will be integrating with a VCS in this guide.
